Giving Back

Greetings from the farm!

Our community is important to our family. We realize we have a role to play, and should contribute utilizing our skills and resources.

Over the last several years, contributing to local food pantries has been a natural fit with this local meat business. In fact year to date 2021, we have donated approximately 1,400 pounds of our pork. At a time when pantries are having a hard time getting protein to distribute, these 5,600 servings of meat to two local food pantries in Putnam County have gone a long way. In part, this has been made possible by the continued purchases of our customers. Thank you.

I write this post not just to share our recent involvement, but to encourage each of you to recognize areas that you can use your skills and resources to contribute to the betterment of your community. It is a privilege to use our God given resources to provide for those in need in our community.

My best,

Beth Tharp
